Walter Kean sells her wife Margaret's paintings of children with big eyes as they were his own drawings, and markets them to crowds for the sake of selling strategy. Thanks to his persuasion and marketing abilities Kean starts to gain a great fortune, while the fame of the paintings increase more and more. Margaret, who could never use her signature in her works stands up and tries to uncover this fraud, while struggling with his husband's oppressive methods. The movie that tells the story of one of the biggest art fraud's of the 1960's and emphasize the hardships of surviving in the art world as a women at the same period is based on a real events. Big Eyes brought Amy Adams, who starred as Margaret Keane, the Golden Globe "Best Performance by an Actress" award.
